Since 2021, Bouchard Cooperages has been pleased to represent CLC Vasche concrete tanks in North America. CLC Vasche, from Padova, Italy, is a global leader in custom and standard concrete tanks made specifically for wine production. It produces over 800 concrete tanks per year for the world's most prestigious cellars.

Most Versatile - Cru Tank

Along with the smaller size tanks that included the 20 HL Diamond and 14.5 HL Aromy, CLC's Cru tank is gaining popularity because of its versatility in the cellar in regards to transportability and functionality allowing for whites and reds to both be fermented and aged. With placements already in cellars in North America, Bouchard Cooperages looks forward to presenting a 15 HL Cru at Unified 2025 in Sacramento

Most Space Effective - Standard Tank

Iconic Italian Friuli white and red wine producer Enzo Pontoni from Miani recently equipped his cellar with custom-made 9, 11, 13, and 17 HL Standard concrete tanks for fermenting and aging his Bordeaux reds and native Refosco. The custom size of the tank works perfectly for his different lots and is fully equipped with the most practical winemaker accessories including valve, door, tasting tap, and thermometer placement to Enzo's liking.

NEW! - Rubis Tank

In the footsteps of the popular Opale tank, which represents CLC's egg-conical-shaped red fermenting tank, the Rubis has arrived. In response to the demand for a concrete tank that imitates a conical wooden vat or stainless-steel tank, CLC's new Rubis allows for a slow natural extraction of the cap during red ferments, which can then easily be emptied into a macro-bin and pressed off. Available in 40, 50, and 60 HL sizes.

Custom Design Build Tanks

If looking to renovate, add, or simply build a new winery structure, CLC Vasche's claim to fame is working hand in hand with architects and designers to build tailor-made tanks. The tanks can be customized based on dimensions, styles, colors, and embedded logos or imprints. Most recently, 14 different-sized tanks with the winery's landscape were embedded into the facade of the tank for Château Beauséjour Deffau Langarosse in Saint-Émillion.
